A good player... Someone who trains hard, plays hard and is a key team player.

Experience and creativity are always great advantages to have as a player and are very rare to find together. But I've always found that anyone can look good as a player, and be technically great. It’s always difficult to pick out a player from off the field that is really doing damage to the opposing team.

But if you consistently get shoot out of your barricade... back to training you go, let’s think about what you’re doing wrong… If you can consistently live in you barricade and get shot out moving up the field possibly taking one or even two kills where possible, you’re on the right path.

And as a player you should always be trying to play against players that are better then yourself.

respect for others....no matter how silly they are i.e marines.

no respect for others, no respect for yourself.
Respect is a two way thing cookie.

My intitial comment on the marines thread was said in jest. (Hence the winking smiley)

It was only when the thread starter threw all respect for my opinion out the window that I returned the favour.

It takes more of a man to speak up for what he feels is right, than one who says nowt.

I have yet to reach that 'level.' Very true however.

Suppose some of us react to pain different to others.

On a side note:

I have found the more I get shot, the less pain I feel. I also seem to bruise less than I did a couple of years ago.

I can honeslty say that i dont generally feel pain from paintballs anymore, but i definitely did once, maybe its more a case of your pain barries going up or you getting used to it or something, i got drilled and took a shot in the neck at the weekend and didnt even know id ben hit there untill i got back and everyone was making comments like "ooh nasty one" ect and i remember when getting shot in exactly the same place 1 to 2 years ago it would sting like feck.
anyone else not feel the pain anymore? it makes the game slightly less exciting i recon :( :p

edit: on second thoughts i dont get bruises atall anymore either :/ maybe its got something to do with moving up the divisions and playing people with brittler paint or something?
