The ability to listen, not just to whats going on around you, but having the awareness to listen to your teammates or anyone that is giving you advice.

Yeah, some people just wont take creative critisism. Too set on making excuses. Just bloody listen to people, or you will never get better.

all kinds of things but i think lots of training and experience are a big help...a player may be good but i dont think he can always take all the credit he has to have help from his team...the training for a long time and getting to think like each other on the field so eg the back man covering the man i the snake can say in the middle of a game right hes going to make a run/ move here i need to move to cover him ect. To automatically know what your team mates are preparing to do and thinking.

Correct me if i am wrong though people but i think that is a huge part of it THE TEAM WITH THAT PERSON AND THE SKILLS THEY POSSESS TOGETHER!!!

I am fed up with pointless threads. i.e Marines etc. (thank god it got pulled)

What makes a player good / special. Apart from what he wears and shoots.

respect for others....no matter how silly they are i.e marines.

and thats not just my opinion. everytime Robbo talks of ollie lang he always says how thankful and respectful he is of everyone who hes met, who have helped him, and who will help him

a good player must be a team player,and the abilaty to use understand what the other players are doing and react to it.good skills that only traing can give.
