great day

was very impressed with the site, the setup was fantastic, the only ideas I can think of is put a door in the fence so you dont have to walk all the way around to get up to the viewing bank. Oh and put some kind of shelter up there its windy and f**king cold :p .

Oh and the paint was pretty insane! was like shooting soup all day, definitely worth investing in winter paint for a while.

Other than those awesome site, friendly staff, keep it up guys

hi, im captain of the Loughborough team, will be joining you guys on the 2nd, what kind of guns did most people have, our team has, Shockers, Timmys and Ego's.

Not sure for the other teams, but we had ION's and EGO's

I think that a fun day was had by all the teams. The first round was serving more as a warmup for teams to try out the format, iron out a few rules and see how well things worked out, the matches were friendlies and not actually counting towards to the league. Saying that, we won all of our matches :p

The site setup was absolutely awesome and the guys running it were extremely friendly and helpful, all of the Brum uni lot are psyched about coming back for the third round (or fourth round if you are counting this one). The paint was a bit of a letdown, but we all still had a good day's playing. Any chance of getting the air to fill a bit faster next time?

Bob, I am not sure if there were many people with cameras there on the day, we may have a couple of photos though.

ION_CRAZY, most of the players were shooting ions there, although a couple of us had egos and there were a couple of other misc guns.

Edit: Got some photos from one our team members, Byron, and I have posted them on the inter-uni forum (seeing as you can put inline photos without going plat there), the forum address is: http://university.ukpsf.com/phpbb2/

Dispite most of the Kent team being too pikey to buy more paint the match we played was excellent, the xball format is definately the way forward. I'll see you all on the 2nd...this time my gun will actually work lol:D

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions.....

was very impressed with the site, the setup was fantastic,
Thanks! :D

the only ideas I can think of is put a door in the fence so you dont have to walk all the way around to get up to the viewing bank.
We dont have a gate in the fence, as that would allow 'non players' into the safe area, and the potential for some scumbag to walk off with a lot of kit. We don't want that to happen, and it would use up an extra staff member as security. Not a problem on Saturday, but imagine when the Market is open.... (just look at all the 'stolen from ..... event' threads)

Oh and put some kind of shelter up there its windy and f**king cold :p .
Something to be looked into...;)

Sudden weather change - and a furking cold day didnt help.
