Ordered myself a Q-Lock so I'll let ya know how much of a difference it makesI started sanding away and still couldnt get it past the top o-ring, so as lemonade X did removed the top o-ring and twisted it on. After a little more sanding managed to get it on reasonably secure.
I think on the day however it gonna be gaffer taped on, just to be bloody sure, and eventually I will get a q-lock on the Ion, but at least at the moment I feel I am making progress and can attend a day without losing my egg.
Thanks for posts guys.
The reason it falls out is because I can't seem to push it past the first O-ring in the feedneck to make it secure. Got to admit the idea of sanding the hopper neck til it fits seems sound Conion92.
However, would doing something to the feedneck o-rings to make them a bit more flexible be another option?
