Really all its about is being responsable, I mean if you start waving it around in public for 1. You give paintball an incredibly bad image and downgrade the actual sport 2. Your gonna get your arse pwned by the armed response unit.

I have seen some one shot by the armed response team because he was firing his air rifle in the park
