But hopefully with the like's of Dave and D7's, Markie and NQ and Robbo with his words of wisdom, we might be able to get the UK back on top!!
Mark, we need a 'belt and braces' approach that has more sites like Dave's opening up and providing the opportunity to train and play Sup' Air to run parallel with with a national marketing campaign that has its core presentation, tourney ball.
When we achieve this, we are going in the right direction because I passionately believe the 'product' that we recognize as tourney Paintball is intrinsically more attractive than Rambo ball and look how many people that manages to attract.

Totally agree with you Pete, thats what Im talking about "WORDS OF WISDOM" :D

I think/hope we are heading towards that direction as I keep seeing more and more posts for Sup'Air site/training venues popping up all over the Country so these site owners are giving the players what they need to train, but coming back to what Raffles is saying the money is needed to play, nothing I can do on that front, but paint prices I cant see coming down anymore to be honest.

Pete whats the average price of paint per 2000 in the States?, because the kids train all the time there...

LOL - sorry Mark. I was being flippant (yes - for a change :p).

Training against Pro/Div 1's is a good idea - and I know you can be cannon fodder down at the NQ against Kelly's ;).

As for 'other' types of training - the UKM/PA/SWPL etc have that all sewn up - in the form of existing tourney's.

I always try and play my best and aim to win but I put myself in the just for fun catagory because i don't train as regularly or as hard as many of the other members.

Student FTW:rolleyes:
Hi Bob,

Thats all anyone can do is try and play they best, you cant ask anymore than that.. but you do take our training seriously when you do get out there!!!

Have you got a local Sup'Air training site near you ?...or do you have to travel a fair distance? If so how far is it?

Mark - I think what Dave and you are doing down at D7's is exactly what we need in Britball, I just wish there were more of you guys, and even more importantly, I wish we had more people looking to utilise those facilities i.e. prospective players.
I'll get back to you re prices of paint in the US.

Clan run training days(Well dskize cos he's really touchy about this ;) ) and we charge £10 walk on which includes air and £20 per box of paint to Clan players and £25 for walk on players. We also run walk on day(Again THANKS DSKIZE) for new players to try it out, play games, little bit of coaching but more the fun aspect, this is at the same price as above. No money made really by the time you take off field rent, air and paint.
