Theres a lot of players and teams been ostrosised through the years, they have litraly done nothing wrong, hes stired it up between teams and players, some believe it all, others dont, some just decide to plod on and say nothing to keep the peace.

D10 Super six game ( the second one.) when the site owner suddenly decided that frostbite couldnt be used due to it marking trees, or some such bollocks.
But the paint favored by TB, was sold by Andy S, by chance Andy had a van full of the favoured paint. teams could use, that went down really well...NOT...

I know SW told him to do one, and they went and purchased boxes and boxes of frostbite, the lads loaded up and went in to play with it all day.
What was he gonna do, throw the 15 angry jocks off site. Hes never done that in his life, he dosent have the bollocks.
SW have never done anything that hes asked, the guys do there thing, they do what they want, thats why he hates them with a passion, and thats why they hate him, and always have.

These are my thoughts, and certainly not the thoughts of SW, but im sure the lads would all agree.

Ps..

This goes way back, i joined a team ( im not nameing names, People will know or they wont, its no biggy ) we were running about with some top class scenario players, real stealthy *******s, Lee Wickham was in the team with TB tagging along, ( really a hanger on for the ride.) i mean he really wasnt that great a player, always got his ass kicked and sulked like a petchelent child.
I used to friendly fire him, just for the crack, i did on several occasions.

Anyways.

He started kicking a few ideas about soon after super 6 started really well, towards the end kids going Free came into the fold, basically if you brought a child to play any super 6 event that child would play for Free... Dead easy, and a good idea. ( obviously someone elses idea.)

There was a game in YPC Charlie and the chocolate factory, ( ideal for a budding young scenario player.) also a super 6 game, so i text TB to see if the kids go free thing stood for this game, as i was going to try and get my youngest involved, i receved a text back from TB saying " its not my game ".

I thought you know what im not even going to go through you, I will go through Andy Sables, as it was his place.
So i nipped in and spoke to Andy on the saturday.
Andy said yea sure, bring your son along, he can play for free, just sort him with the paint, so thats what i did.

TB never spoke to me all day, i just thought fcuk it and blanked him, however later he turned round and said, how did your young lad enjoy the game, i said yea fine, TB went on to say how he had sorted the free ticket out, and it was him that had spoken to Andy.... I called Bull ****, I said to him how do you work that out, ive been and spoken to Andy on the saturday and i got it sorted myself, as you were a been a bell end... TB turned and walked away.

A couple of days later i was then branded a free loader, and orstrosised.

Cracking stuff.

Funny thing though, when i got in the house in the Sunday afternoon, we both were greeted by my daughter and the dog, she was wanting to see if her brother had been brused by the nasty paintballs, a conversation took place, my young lad piped up and said mum.!!! Tims a wanker, her responce was, yes son, i know.

We also used the 'banned' Frostbite that day, was no way we were buying off him! Laughed as we secreted it in our bags and kit then the SW came in with a sack barrow loaded up with Frostbite, brazen as you like. :D

The frostbite issue at D10 was class, the whole team called tim over and in no uncertain terms said if we dont use the paint we wanted then we would walk and quite a few other teams were going to follow us, his face was a picture. Player power pewpewpew. Simon Cole thanked us for standing up to the bull**** and ensuring traders could sell the paint they had brought.

Some teams towed the shoreline line and used the sterling which was awful in the sub zero temps.

The "Frostbite incident" is nothing to do with TB, its down to me actually.

I was chatting to Nick Sanders who owns the site and is rightly proud of it. We were in the trader area and Nick complained about the mess left on his barricades from the previous year and pointed it out on the field nearest to us. I knew straight away that it was Frostbite as we used it when I worked at Campaign. Frostbite does seem to be almost impervious to cold but it does leave a thick residue behind that is virtually impossible to get rid of. Nick is obviously proud of his site and didn't want it left in a mess, he only objected to it being used as I had identified what the paint was for him.

Our paint wasn't stored very well which is why you had problems with it and its the reason I was there in the first place. Stored correctly our paint performs very well in cold weather.

As the saying goes, I'm not a gynaecologist but I do know a c*nt when I see one.....
As another saying goes Jimbo, 'I'm not a urologist but I know a prihk when I see one' ......

.... Or as yet another saying goes, 'I'm not a gastroenterologist but I know an a$shole when I see one ....

Or another saying goes, 'I'm no poet laureate or academic exponent of the finer use of the English language but I know a sh!t-cuhnt, scumbag, piece of sh!t sucking, anus loving, poop-Meister when I see one.

I better shut up now or you might think I don't like barnett ...

Renegade Rebels stood shoulder to shoulder with the SW that day. Threatened to walk..... he did not like it one little bit.

Tbh it wasn't about being awkward. We always pre-paid for team paint and we had reserved about 50-60 boxes of FB with BZ, then Sunday morning we were basically being told we couldn't use the paint we'd already bought. Warriors were the same so that's how the 'we're all walking if we can't use it' came about.

While a lot of people had issues with other paint the Frostbite performed brilliantly all day.

Frostbite contains oil. Some fields don't like to use it and that's their prerogative. If I banned an oil-filled ball, and people used it anyway, I would send them home, because that is disrespectful. There is no high-ground available in this example. The instances where people just used the paint anyway are not putting those people in a positive light and I am surprised people actually want to own up to this and feel its a positive contribution.
Stating that your team has to use paint that the field owner expressly forbids, or you will walk and take others with you, is ****ing low, and you should be ashamed of that.
While I'm totally on board with exposing scumbag activity, lets not get carried away here. I mean, what's next?
"It took me 5 hours to get to the shoreline game because there was an accident on the M40, this is unacceptable! It said on the website that they were only 2 hours away. It only took me 40 minutes to get to paint-fest, and they game was way bigger!!! Grrr. "

The danger here, is that by attributing everything you don't like about paintball to TB, you are weakening your case against him.
If I were him, I would be breathing easier right now, because the accusations against me have become as ridiculous as I want them to sound. Once several accusations can be proven to be groundless, maybe none have grounds.

Sorry, I disagree there. The 'ban' on the paint was halfway through an event. By all means decide that you don't want a certain paint used in future, but you can't decide halfway through an event that people that have spent thousands of pounds on 'event trader only paint' can't use what they have paid for and expect them just to accept that without expressing their displeasure.

We never used the paint underhand. We simply said that if we couldn't use the paint we had already purchased then we would leave the event. We certainly weren't about to pay again to buy different paint and continue. We were then told we could use any that had already been purchased but the traders were told they could not sell any more I believe.

So this is tim barnetts fault?
This is a thread exposing tim barnett for underhand practices...
I've known Nick at Skirmish for probably 25 years. He's a pro. It does not surprise me that he banned Frostbite. It would surprise me if he did this half way through an event.
