Anyone remember the days when scenario teams organised games as there was only Staargate and NvS big games each year. The things were organised to give their mates on other teams a great day with lots of hard work planning and even helping build stuff onsites to organise the best event possible and usually no financial gain for doing it. Teams like Going Postal, 360fireteam, Ronin and Convicts to name a few. Some of the best games i have played.

Who could forget the team games. The efforts put in by certain fully committed teams.

I remember 360Fireteam having a whip round out of there own personal pockets, to buy a marker, off BZ so the the team could give it to the player of the day.
Loads of free stuff getting given out to players. Raffels... Wendy was a ledgend.

Nothing to stop teams from still doing that. Clubbing together to hold their own events etc. For instance Landmarc, who look after the MoD sites, charge £37.50 (based on last years prices anyhoo) per person for a 24 hour period at most of their urban sites like Copehill Down, Longmoor, Sennybridge etc.

Go on Landmarcs website, there's a ton of sites that allow paintball/airsoft. http://locations.landmarcsolutions.com/

I'll make a prediction here on the whole 'invited back to Canada next year' assertion.

It will either be quietly forgotten, until someone mentions it, or there will be a statement along the lines of 'We've done Canada two years now and established as international, now time to do something different'
