I thought all teams will be in one pro division for the Dallas event then for Nashville they get split up based on the game outcomes.

I think that was only for the first event of last years psp, if you ended last year in challengers then you start this year in challengers i believe.

With all the teams who have left the divisions over the off season I would guess the 10 highest ranking teams across Champions / Challengers will start in Champions.
The next 10 ranking teams in Challengers / Division 1 will start in Challengers.

I thought I heard about Ninios to Dynasty, not sure if that rumor will bear out. Greenspan was pretty tight lipped about adding new people to the team when he was asked in an interview recently.

I could see Slowiak going back to Shock, there are some free agents from Vicious and Heat left out there, plus Danny Park from Impact.

sometimes players just leave because they want to go, I did the same thing in the 90's went out at the top of my game, just got bored. I have a feeling that's what A rod has done, I could be wrong. spoken to him a few times and there is so much he likes doing he is an exceptionally nice guy, very very humble.
Personally I'd like to see him on dynasty, then there would be at least one decent person on that team. but he's too nice a guy for dynasty.

Looks like Dave Painter of Upton said that they'll put all teams in one bracket then split them after the first event again. Not sure there will be 20 teams though. May be only 8? Per division.

If it is only 8 per division, then potentially this will be split into 2 brackets. So it may result in certain teams only playing 3 games. 4 if you have to play a relegation match and 5 if you make the finals.
