FYI, GoPro now recognise that paintball is a potential high-impact sport and do now honor warranties from paintball hits :)

Sportsman mount from GoPro if you've got £50 to spend - otherwise the Inception Designs mount (barrel) or a standard curved mount if you want it on your hopper.

Been specialising in 3rd Person camera mounting for paintball for just over 2 years now, gone through 4 different rigs, all hand made, this is the angle I currently get on mine.

Also, I was one of the random people at zombieland filming, but I held the camera on a pole to see what angles I could get with this ;)

Barrel mount's great if you can condition yourself to train the barrel forwards at all times. Nothing better than seeing the line of fire when you set up an ambush. Live action replay if you have the bacpac on a go pro. However I find myself running for cover more often than not in which case you see a lot of footage of the ground instead. Time to switch to a helmet mount.

I mounted my Contour to the peak of my EFlex this weekend. It was okay for shorter distances but the angle of the peak meant that the camera was too downwards facing :/

I think I'm going to go back to mounting on the sides of my mask or try using a strap mount >.>

Of course, action cameras are all very well and good, but for larger games (NvS, Paintfest) I am considering going down the Shane Hurlbut method of literally sticking a camera to the side of my head.

In case you're wondering, yes, that's genuine.

It still can be done on the peak, check angles and use wedges etc

Yeah, I've been playing around with it today. It straightens out with a small wedge at the front but I'm being mindful of the additional weight and the actual fixing of the wedge :p I don't use the peak for any other reason than to mount to so I might see about adding the wedge and just seeing what happens :p

Here is how I mountedd it on eflex and grills. I trade those on FB forums but with new regulations in place peeps are more than likely to go back here again :) (as I did)
