the bristol stallions were **** on. We received an email the night before (that morning) that they couldn't make it to the event. So right before we started we had to buy a box of 1 star to tide us over, luckily the refs held up the start for us and another team because of the paint fiasco. In the end we got in contact with tim and he said we would have to shoot the training paint all day, both teams!

We have a theory or two as to why this happened:

one, he genuinely couldn't get into the warehouse to pick up the paint to bring to us

two, he wanted to back out of the "if you win we pay for your paint" deal. especially as only three out of 6/7 teams were using valken (two being stallions A and B), we were the top two teams (stallions A went un defeated all day) and we had previously agreed with him that student cup would count towards the paint deal.

We have not heard anything from him since, not even a 'sorry guys' so we just shoot GI again now from LIPS. A lot less hassle

I really rate the Gi paint. I've never shot the valken paint.
That's frightening customer service though to be fair!

There whole discussion is pointless it won't achieve anything as tim barrnet is not allowed to post on this forum I'm not here defending him don't know him don't play for a valken team. We won the event and diddnt get a prize and wasn't best pleased about it but with out him being invited to defend his action this is just a slagging post which is just counterproducitve

Thing is, the forums and facebook pages he does bother with, when anyone actually tries to offer any kind of criticism or opportunities to improve, he bans them and makes sure that the topic is never mentioned again. I don't see anyone slagging him off personally, merely people who have had bad dealings with him.

Agreed but by doing the same to him, anyone who stands to defend him seems to end up banned so are we any better than him

He was banned for different reasons, yes, we are better than banning people over a difference of opinion actually.

Otherwise you'd be banned but you're not, therefore point is proven!

Iv been banned for disagreeing with Robbo but that's off topic, my point is without reaching out to tim for response this whole thing is pointless and just discrediting (like it or not) a rather large industry player .

load of nonsense about tim. when people reach out anywhere else they get banned, blocked and ignored. This is one of the few places legitimate grievances can be aired and for the record, some of barnetts haters have been banned from here for conduct unbecoming too so it's not a one sided affair. asides from that, he doesn't "do" the internet thing, how many times has that been said by him? Keeps cropping up though.........

What little dealings I've had with him I have found he was nothing less than belligerent and condescending, I've had first hand accounts from people I trust implicitly of what he has said to and about his paying customers.

as for being a rather large industry player, well, we'll see how long that lasts. Doesn't matter how big anyone thinks they are, there's someone bigger not too far away and those boys have been around the block enough to know what's what.

Again possibly correct points if we want to be a level place for points and events to be discussed( badly worded but struggling to phrase it correctly) the every one needs to be allowed to post and advertise here

This may be out of date I apology's if that is that case is it still a fact we are not allowed to name on this forum a certain northern shop, now I have had no dealing with said shop but there are many teams affiliated with this shop and there main supported is not allowed to be mentioned here, again this may be out of date information but if that's the case if one if these teams were to win say the cpps then would it be not allowed to publish that result as the team name has the shops name in it ??

I get what you're saying, don't worry. Equally it's easy to forget people were given plenty of opportunities on this forum previously and still refused to play fair.

As for that northern shop, different topic entirely and different reasons behind it. Rest assured, it's not for nothing and we've managed with the mention of them for long enough that I think it again proves the problem is of your creation.
