This weekend round 4 of the CPPS will be the Valken Cup.

We'd like to invite all of the Breakout teams for a free beer and BBQ party on Saturday after games finish at around 2/3pm.

Whether you are a Valken sponsored team or not please come along and help yourself to free beer and steaks on us!

We'll also be filming as many of the Breakout games as we can and showing them on a plasma screen so you can see some of your play from earlier in the day.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Valken tent on Saturday!

heard from a couple of people it didnt, seems a shame for the breakout guys not to get there party after a cracking year for all of them.

We won the breakout Div on the Saturday and we ended up hitting a local pub for celebrations.
Damn, missed out on free beer and Steak.

Seemed like you needed a special wristband to join the ''party'' and as all breakteams were invited i thought all teams fomr Breakout would get one... didnt seem to be the case however, The pub was good though...

I was there on the Saturday watching the breakout and can confirm that some filming was taking place from the viewing area. I didn't know it was happening or when/where the footage was to be shown so I can't comment further other than I saw the filming taking place. I didn't stay until the end but a chap was coming round offering the breakout players a free steak and a beer at the end of the day and was giving a wristband out (which I assumed allowed access). As I was a spectator and not a player I declined the invitation and left promptly after the breakout division finished so I can't comment on what did or did not occur after that. I have no axe to grind with any parties involved or otherwise but someone did ask for more information and this is what I actually saw or heard for myself.

In answer to recent questions yes games were filmed and yes they was being shown at the Valken tent Saturday night.

One minute barnett doesn't "do" the internet or get involved in internet disputes, the next minute of course he uses the internet to promote his events??

Any promoter that says he doesn't do the internet, is either a lying sack of sh*t, because you can't promote a damn thing without it these days, or out of business real soon.

That would have been impressive some 7-8 years ago. They do know it's 2014 and plasma screens have been overtaken by LED screens, right?
Or are plasma screens the hipster thing to do nowadays?
