It may be better to start a new thread rather than continuing this on the 'paintball' thread, and to title it regarding the different guns
You will only get peoples opinions between different guns - there will be no right & wrong answers
(Though on the spyder that's right - it's more basic and you could make your money go further)
Go out to a site, preferably to a walkon, if you don't have your own gear you can usually still rent it & you get the benefit of seeing the choices out there, get peoples opinions on them and ask if you can hold or even test fire one
Paintballers love to show off their kit
You can also sometimes just visit a walkon just to meet the staff, see the crowd and ask some questions (perhaps not just randomly turn up and wander around the safe zone - but turn up and ask the manager if it's ok, they will probably introduce you to a regular)
