Hi all,
been paintballing several times, marshalled t a local site and borrowed kit from friends to join in at 'own gun' days and loved every minute of it, hence why i went and splashed out the fee to get my ticket for PlanetEclipse' Zombieland event which is being held not more than 3 miles from my house.

My background is Army and also Airsoft (which as i have come to understand is a dirty word in these circles) in which ive played at UK and euro championships.

Anyway my questions are this:
What would people recommend for playing styles (hints/tips/etc)

Equipment? (Im going for the scenario/woodsball feel and have had my eye on the Sierra One as means i can add various bits and stuff to make my own)

Free stuff? Well you dont get if you dont ask

For play styles just go out and see what comes naturaly for the game, watch other people etc. in scenario you can get the best of all styles, and play numerous styles in one day. You can run around demented, sneak about, embed yourself defending or attacking in a firefight or go hunting props and points

Look around the scenario calendar at
http://www.ukscenario.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=38961

And this forum tends to be geared around tournament style competitive or recreational speedball

You will find classic paintball site woodland, woodland tournaments, underground bunkers and tunnels (Exeter & drakelow), active army training sites (copehill down, sennybridge & swynnerton) and much more
For a taste of everything look out for paintfest which will include all flavours of paintball over a long weekend

Welcome to the forum! (y)

Airsoft isnt so much a dirty word, I think a natural comparison was born between the two a long time ago, and people will always voice an opinion on something they havent tried.

I think it looks pretty good fun! But have never tried it.

Whats your regiment?
