No one think a major problem is over firing? such as can't even put your hand up becasue you getting spammed by paint so much? It's hardcore people not Core where you need to empty the hopper into someone and scream put your hand up within a nano second of being hit.

Back to the OP's original post, I'd suggest staying away from military stlye markers, most of the "upgrades" on them are just additional wieght, stocks are fairly pointless as your mask makes it hard to sight down the marker. I'd suggest looking at the GOG enmey if buying new rather than an M4 clone, its an excellent budget option.

@Harbinger I think that very much depends on where you play, at a good site stating you're hit in a loudish voice generally gets the ref or one of the other players to inform whoevers shooting at your position to let you get out, trouble with a hand coming over the top of a bunker is its hard to tell sometimes if its a hand coming up to say the persons out or a hand coming up to shoot at you.

Agreeing with Mr. Fodder here, I have a Phenom which I ditched for the Mini, All upgrades for these like Bi Pods ( who ever gets the time to flip it out, mount up and look down sight?) Red Dot sights? unless using FS rounds you'll never hit the target in the sight anyway, range and accuracy aren't good enough on any of them to hit a point first time, sustained fire you won't be looking through it to the target anyway, I took the stock of my Phenom as was too bulky and never actually used it, much better to tuck in close as possible, shrouds etc are just a waste of time unless you want to Join the Spec ops branch of paintballer.

If your doing mag fed go for it, if not stay simple, like jack.

And Mr. Fodder, sadly it doesn't happen at my site, I am looking at changing for the next walk on, fed up with it, Campaign nearby is a good site, and they have 2 marshalls per game so it's all good.

Hope they don't mind my 25BPS.
