Importantly - do it carefully
Ensure it is empty, not just appearing to be empty because the guage is low
Consider that it may be screwed in to a particular torque, or it may also have loctite.
If loctite has been used then you need to release it with heat - but don't overdo the heat

Search youtube for some demonstrations - but what you don't want to do is crush the cylinder in a vice. Clamp the regulator and ensure it is protected, then turn the cylinder

If you got the Reg in a Guerrilla air case, it should of had a hollow allen key, to unscrew the middle of the reg, from there, everything inside the reg comes out leaving it hollow and very easy to unscrew the whole reg, this hollow Allen key is the best bit about these regs, to change any "o" rings or just to tighten due to leaks, If you haven`t got one ? get it from LIPS.
Pennies but well worth having it, I`m amazed at the amount of guys that don`t know about these keys, but there again, a lot buy second hand with and without the bottles.

Press the pin on the top of the bottle to make sure all air is released

Myth 2s are usually screwed in by hand and then some torque applied with a spanner by hand, so trying doing the reverse.

They go quickly from 'not moving' to 'unscrewing' so use some elbow power

OR do what Care Bears says ;-) I have ione of those allen keys and does make taking the reg apart nice and easy

you should be able to as @PreacherMan said ? just snap your grip to unscrew it as now there`s nothing to hold it in, usually there`s nothing added to the reg for extra grip into the bottle ?
they are hand tightened then let the air filled to take up the torque.
