Hate to be a party pooper but in PSP mode the marker will fire more than the allowed single shot after the last trigger pull has been registered, I had a Mini banned for being in the mode at an event this season.
Not the best news :( but it at least saves everyone from being caught out on this during the actual event.

You need to set the "ramp start" at a higher setting than half the cap.
Else it will shoot 3 balls instead of 2.

So if you use 10.5, you need to start at 5.3 or higher (5.5 on basic boards)
If you use 10bps max, you need to have a ramp start above 5.1.
This isn't only on Empire markers, but on all of them.
If you use a ramp start at 5 and a cap at 10.5, as 10.5/5 is over 2, the marker won't realise until AFTER it shot the 3 ball that you didn't click enough. ;)

EDIT: Do not use "Ramp start 5.0bps, and cap to 10.5" like millenium rules says, else it technically can't ever only shoot 2 paintballs after the last pull).

Yes, but when you change to PSP mode, it drops at 4 by default, you just need to put it back to 5.5 (safest ;) )

Hopefully you will get them sorted for the next round - these defo were not in the mode they should have been hence why we pulled them sorry if if annoyed or ruined your day were only doing our job - Think of it this way if that was a millenuim event they would have banned your arse :)

I think you should take Thibs advice and change them or get in contact with Empire directly to resolve the issues.

I'm not Mr Technical so won't get too involved... But, if your at an event and get checked before the game starts (i think this is correct for the CPPS) and it's illegal (in the eye's of the ref) then you always have the option to put it in semi auto capped at 10.5, stops your marker being a 'Paper Weight'...

Funny story from last weekends CPPS. Sandbaggers are playing the UWL this weekend so our LV1's needed to be set-up in Semi rather that Millennium Ramp mode. We went to change them and 2 of the LV1's were already set-up in semi... Nobody on the Sandbaggers seems to care and certainly didn't mention it :)

Good Luck getting the probelm solved..

Again man, I've not tried to blame you or the refs for this, hence why I posted it in the KEE section of this forum... Nobody blames you for sticking to the rules, but at the same time, please understand there was no intention on my, or any of my teams' behalf to violate the rules. We didn't want this to happen which is why we were just trying to shoot in the stock Milllenium mode! Please also remember that if you see me at the next round (and if I'm still shooting an axe) it'll most likely have PSP written across the OLED display...

And finally, thank you for your advice. I do intend to try what Thib has suggested as soon as I get back to my flat. And yes, the whole point of this thread was to get in contact with Empire, so fingers crossed, they'll still get back to us.

Cheers Ledz, that's exactly what I did. I shot in semi for the remainder of the event :)
