Nice Bikes guys!

AT Maggot love that R6 mate, sorry to hear about your accident!
You still got a bike kicking around? (Something less sporty?)

I wouldn't get a GSXR - Especially in blue, they are nice but so, so common.
I'd get a Triumph Daytona 675 if you wanted a nice 600 (roughly) bike!

Or a Old CBR600F - They are nice bikes! :)

no bike at the moment unfortunately , the R6 was a mess when i got it
looked nice but the guy who had it before modified it without knowing what he was doing ,
hence the different exhaust n stuff in the last pic , stripped it to the frame n rebuilt it before
realising i couldnt really ride it with my knee lol

I've always like the gsxr , in the common blue n white lol and the 1000 is that bit bigger so
my knee isnt bent as far , i dont have full range of movement in my right knee , tore ligaments
when i got wiped off n never really been right since i had op to have em repaired

just to add insult to injury , the accident was 1st of april 2009 .... April fools day

Haha I know the feeling!
Sounds good mate, hope it all goes smoothly for you!
Ahh the old kickstart - Mine doesn't have one but my Ped did, it was fun just to do it sometimes.

Yeah I got it new on 4.7 Miles, and 2 months later i'm on 2211 so a fair amount of riding to and from Many biker spots - Box Hill, Ace Café, Chalet Café, Brighton Sea Front and Loomies Café - All good fun roads! :)

Ahh mate, what a bad day!

You did a nice job on that R6 - I noticed the Exhaust got changed in the bottom photo.
That was unlucky, i'd hate not being able to ride.
Yeah GSXR's are bad but they are common! haha
You'll find a bike you'll like soon enough, tried a Speed Triple? Plenty of power, great bike and perfect leg positioning. :)

(I'm starting to think I'm a Triumph Fan Boy! haha)

cheers love the kickstart even though i havent started it with it yet due to needing a new sparkplug lol, yes see youve done alot of driving on it you lucky guy, petrols cheap for motorbikes (or is it just pit bikes and mini motos lol) oh and youll be surprised how much i paid for that pit

started off on this little peice of junk which got given to me, crashed it, sold it and brought the pit with the money i got for this lol so i basically got it for free ( pit only cost 110 anyways)IMG_1332[1].PNG

Buy one then come for a ride out sometime! I've seen some many 600's/1000's (About 7/8 years old in good condition) go for less than a Third of my CBR125's cost new!!
I'd of got one if I wasn't restricted for two years. :(
I feel your pain, sort of haha
Trust me, if I could afford to replace my bike I would, but I've had to self fund the first two years of my current degree, meaning that I've already had to find just over £11,000 in the last 12 months for it and will have to find another £11,000 over the next 12 months, so right now I don't have a penny to spend on anything that isn't 100% vital.

As for the restriction, don't let the 33bhp limit stop you getting a big bike, if you pick the right bike you can still have great fun. I was restricted for the first two years I had my SV but it was still easily fast enough to be fun because it's a great torquey engine, and the restriction only really affected the very top end.

Unfortunately my bike went tits up literally two weeks after I got the restrictors off of it :(

Ahh that sucks matey, but you'll soon get your degree's and be back on a great paying Job with many bikes!!

Ahh I'm not restricted to 33BHP, I'm restricted to 15BHP/125cc until i'm 19 (New Motorcycle Laws brought in January this year - I never had a chance to pass my test before them sadly.)

SV650's are very nice bikes!
Sad to hear about it breaking soon after your restrictors were removed! :(
