Personally I think the tech in markers reached a plateau around 07/08.

They're all more than efficient enough to last a game or two now. Anyone remember the original SFT shocker getting 800 shots off a fill on a stock bolt? Eyes were also a £100 option when they first came out!!

I'm on a bit of a quest, after years of gun whoring with the more expensive markers I've gone the complete opposite way. Was nearly going to get myself one of the carbon Axes which are out now then decided to see how many other guns I could get with the money

If anyone sees an SL74/SL8R on the go I'd appreciate a nod

I want to love spoolies, I just........ can't. Especially Dye ones.

As it happens, I picked up an SL8R a few weeks back, off-forum. It's one of fhe blue & gold plated ones, really nice.

It's just being serviced ATM, so when I get it back I'll post up some pics.

Nice bit of buying today. Bought an 06 ego off Yorkie at Bricket wood. Bit dirty and worn, but aired up with no leaks and cycles - but not shooting. Suspect an LPR adjustment and/or new battery will bring her back to life. Will start cleaning and lubing tonight and post photos when she's alive...

Weeeeelllllll...

New battery and the LPR set flush with the housing, and no balls leaving the barrel! The odd full cycle, and a nice loud crack sound, but on 99% of shots the rammer isn't fully cycling - knocks forward a little fraction and snaps straight back. Rammer is full of lube - so cleaned it, still no joy. Any thoughts people?

Not enough pressure? Turn up the HPR, change the orings on the rammer?
Reset the board to factory?
