H, You are very correct in your post, knowledge has come a long way about guns by most of the players .. Now !!
On Sunday at CPPS I was granted the wish to hold a LV 1 EGO and I`ve got to say It was Very comfortable in the hands, also I held a Dye at the Dye Tent, and that felt great as well, all the guns have evolved to such a high standard I think It`s hard to choose which one to buy, and as you say, they are very well known by most with having help to inch them to fire better than stock,
however I think I stumbled on to Bob long by accident with one of my guys shooting one and I asked If I could just have a use/go, I was and still am Blown away with the results, after all, Over in the States this is a top gun maker, be it underestimated and under sold by Planet and dye because of sales marketing also plenty of other gun makers, the choice is rife. I do think that the Bob Long guns come across as being over complicated and I do think they could be for new people, probably are with the gauges to set them up. they are NOT the type like an EGO to just wipe down and put away, some people say they are but I don`t think so !!
Leftcoast in USA are brilliant with the services, And Now LIPS are on the ball with these, Can`t praise them enough, But then so is Planet and Dye even with Planet skimping to do away with their Phone line so you can`t phone them ( Think maybe one of the reasons people look elsewhere ) but once you get hooked up there`s no stopping them, they are very good. Dye is a phone call away and that is a Damn good Plus.
One needs to try a Bob Long Gun for a full round ( in my case a Victory V2 ) but there are others out there !!! to appreciate the whole package. So Quiet, so Accurate, with the balls not seeming to drop before hitting the target unlike most I`ve shot, The Shot count per bottle fill as on page one isn`t false, In fact this is one time I tell all that`s prepared to listen, Don`t knock what you haven`t tried .... Yet !!!
