I think branding the impulse as jt may hold off customers too as jt have mainly knocked out shoddy cack like the accelerator and other cheap tat. Throwing a high end out under the jt banner seems odd when empire have just got a solid footing with the axe.

I think its a step in the right direction for JT as they are rebuilding the brand with the new clothing that WildWayz mentioned above and the re-launch of the Proflex.
Good move JT!

I agree pricing is always a sore subject but i can see why they are not replacing the mini, its still a really good seller! It is relatively cheap and £ for £ is still a bloody good marker! Plenty upgrades available for it as well as you progress!

Agree mate clothing and gogs have always been good but as a marker manufacturerthey were abysmal. They would do better placing it under the empire banner alongside the axe as a stack tube alternative. I shoot an 09 impulse and the jt version looks like a step back styling wise so if it doesnt shoot as well it seems a pointless venture. The proof will be in the pudding thoigh i suppose.

Aye but it isnt that far price-wise off the Axe, and i'd rather spend a bit more and get the Axe...
PLUS it kills off the Invert brand once and for all.

I honestly thought that the JT Impulse would be the Mini replacement... then the Axe for mid range... then the Vanquish for top (£700 or less).

Now it looks like

Axe
Impulse
Vanquish (no one will buy unless via team deals)

Too much fragmentation there.

Tried on a top in store - very comfy, great padding - and those thumb glove things in the sleeves!

They removed the brand 'Invert' season before last im afraid. The Mini was officially called the Empire Mini last year onward.
