Hey guys,

First time i used my creed after buying it, so don't really have any idea of how to tech it properly yet, but it was very loud and air hungry. I was getting a hopper and just under 2 pods off of a 3000psi fill. Had it serviced before use so all should be working fine. Any tips as to how to tune it to be more efficient?

Thanks
James

you could start with downloading the owners handbook,, and having a jolly good read,,,

as you said 3000 psi fill,,im guessing you have one of the small alloy bottles,,, there very small at about 0.9 of a liter,,, then you have the reg and how far that sits in the bottle and how much room it removes,,

its really helps if you tell us this info,,as i or the other readers dont know what size bottle you have,, nor do you tell us what size pods you where using,, nor how long your barrel is nor what speed you where shooting at..

need this info if we are to help you,,

heres what i get from my markers,,in a format that helps

0.7 bottle < peanut bottle > filled to 4000 psi for me = 600 shots,,or 6 x 100 shot pods,,,
this is on one of my ion based markers..

now lets say your talking 160 size pods,, and you have abig hopper at 150 to 200 balls

your getting on for 400 to 450 shots.. thats about right,,for 3000psi and a small bottle,,, if it was a blowback,,you would be out of air at the end of your first pod,,,

But one thing your not thinking about,, its a torny marker.. torny markers dont really have to be good on air,, do they ,, think about it,, your in a ten min games, with a 1.1 filled to 4500 psi.. you dont need a marker thats good on air,, if you see what i mean,,

as for how loud it is,,,,did you crono this or where you shooting in your back garden,,, we need to know what fps you where knocking out,,,

get this info up mate.. and maybe we can help you..

Your regs are unballanced.

You will need to get those re adjusted.

What dwell are you running?

Dwell is on 15.5ms.
The manual isnt particularly helpful to be honest, doesn't state alot for someone that hasn't used these markers before. Will start from scratch adjusting the regs next time. I'm right in saying hpr about 1 turn out and then lpr just above flush, then should be just fine tuning it from there?

If your running a high pressure bottle, HPR one turn out, but if running a low pressure bottle, Hpr one and one quarter turns out. And yeah LPR just abouv flush. Fine tune with the LPR when chronoing

Drop the dwell to 12 and wind the HPR all the way in the 1 full turn out, wind the lpr all the way out then slowly wind in over a chrono.

Make sure the ram is oiled and moves freely, and that the LPR piston is also lubed.

Not entirely correct, the LPR setting depends on the piston, schreader valve and LPR cap you have, sitting just over flush will make some creeds shoot well over 300fps.

Yeah sorry Foot,
I wasnt as clear on that as i should have been... I meant use the LPR just above flush as a starting point and adjust to the correct FPS over a chrono... But follow what Foot says Boddy as he will steer you true :)
