Probably the macroline...
I really like planet eclipse gear, but i was really not impressed with the etha. Im sure theres people reading this who have ethas and love them, there are people down my local that have ethas and love them, but they havent owned an axe. I even use my axe over a vanguard demon and a geo2, an axe just feels nice to me. But you may pick one up and not like it so dont take my word, get out there and fondle many other people guns. X
I do like to fondle

Between you and me there was only one choice and I think you have chosen correctly, The Axe came out to be played at top level tournaments , where the Etha is to the woods, the Etha to shoot field paint, the Axe to shoot Tourney Paint, The Etha bolt Hits harder and would have a problem hitting top end paint without smashing to bits, ( something to think about when buying a marker ).You will get a few guys to say " well mine`s ok " but in general that`s how Etha`s are. you would have been better off buying a second hand EGO if that were the case. All guns are NOT THE SAME !!
Now with an Axe in your hands , use it well my friend... Be sensible , be a Pro.

Nothing wrong with the axe unless you want to service the reg :(
The etha is like marmite (love/hate) but does perform really well
Ive shot brittle paint through one all day without a break
Im not a fan of the plastic parts but for price you cant complain
It all comes down to personal preference :)

To be honest I hadnt actually thought about how the etha might handle brittle paint and you mke a very good point. I think for what Id use the marker for it would be a better investment to get an Axe. Might save up afterwards and get an Etha for fun anyway. Any ideas what they go for 2nd hand...
