Hi I'm reasonably new to paintball and I have got an ok bps I was just wandering if there was any tips or technique you know on hot to increase your average bps and consistency. I have a creed and I know on some guns there is a way of measuring your bps can you do this on the creed ?

You cannot do it on the Creed, unfortunately. Walking the trigger is pretty pointless trying to get a high rof. Instead, try to get a consistent rof. Markers are limited to 12bps max at tourneys (depending on where you play) and walkons/big games are only allowing 12bps semi only these days.
On my Clone VX, I would hit 22bps or so (which I am dubious it is correct) - but it was a perfect gun to walk the trigger.
Demon doesnt seem as fast to walk.
Just practice tapping your fingers etc

Some people walk with their finger tips, some kinda slap the trigger with their fingers..

You may find this useful

While I'd agree with your first part......

SOME organisers in the big game market are going down the 12bps semi-only route. This does not equate to ALL big game event organisers.

Maybe they will in the future. But it's not the case at the moment.

Other than practice, there is not much else to do. BUT I will say that I would be working on accuracy first, speed second. No point being able to shoot 15bps when nothing is hitting. We used to train for the first shot accuracy all the time. Set up a target, put gun by your side, or behind you like at a start gate, and when ready, bring it up and take one shot as quick as possible. Hit or miss, it doesnt matter, just keep trying it. But just take one shot at a time.

So many times in game, you only have one shots worth of time to shoot before you must duck back in. The mistake many kids make, is to stay out for a few shots. Thats when you get shot out of your bunker.....the worst way to die, and no use to the team at all.

move the target around aswell, different heights and distances. When you get to the point where your first ball is hitting every target, you will win games.

they reckon to get something to be second nature, you need to repeat it 10,000 times. So get started! The Pros are the Pros because they are at the training field the longest, they put the effort it, and that 10k comes around quicker than you think. After all, its only 5 boxes right? ;)

Did a training days with Clint Moore at Bricket wood - we had ten snapshots to hit a broom handle ten yards away; miss after that and you had a lap of the field. Really focuses the mind and makes you focus. Clint could do it within 3 balls every time.....

As for walkin the trigger - practice - drum your fingers on stuff plenty, and sit watching telly with your marker. Or buy a timmy and turn the debounce down....

What's a 'timmy'?
