I think we are all getting too worried as to the if's and but's of it all.

Does it matter IF it shows this version or that? Some people who play might rather be seeing Speedball BUT others want to see Woodsball. So what?? Is this a case of just wanting to see your own version on TV or your own team??

If so then open your eyes when your on the field and you will see all you need.

The art of publicity is to get new people to choose your brand. With every noob it brings to there local site it can only help us all. If it was just us old timers then there would be no sites, as they would go bancrupt before you could blink. No Diamond Wars this year. No North v's South. Etc.

Of course I want to see ProBall as well as PaintFest etc, but I can only hope it also shows a day's play at a local field also. This is what makes our days possible, and we should never forget it.

And even though I might be new on this site, I first played back in 1993 so I have been round the block a fair bit.

Who's the target demographic here, is it paintballers, or joe public? Case in point, there is 'The Cycle Show' on mondays. As a cyclist, I find it a bit naff, but I guess it may not be made for cyclists, more newbie cyclists. Is this going to be the same?

Never heard of "The Cycle Show" I'm not interested in cycling,but I can see your point here, joe public need somthing to get them to watch it. Without some superstar with a big fan club (Tim B?) No, really, someone in the public eye. Then it's just going to be a paintballers show

see, I can't see it just being for paintballers, as there aren't enough to watch it and make it a success. So I think it must be aimed more at Joe public. which is better for paintball, but less entertaing for the paintballers who will be watching.

Cycling - lots of dudes in skintight lycra shorts and t-shirts. Not gay at all.

Paintball - lots of dudes in baggy pants and tops. Sounds more like a rave.

Best possible scenario for the paintball show would be magazine style used by Dan Napoli, the girls from T4 and The Gadget Show presenting, with professional MILF Lorraine Kelly giving a demonstation of pump markers.

And of course, the cameramen should lie on the floor to get the best possible angle. Like Top of the Pops used to do.

Worst possible scenario - Tim and a load of hairy blokes presenting. Bad times.
