Want to be in the audience for the filming of The Paintball Show?

The Paintball Show will be filmed in front of a live audience at our purpose built studios in Aberystwyth, Wales. You can apply to be part of the audience either just by yourself or you can apply on behalf of your whole team.

To apply, simply complete the online form listed below, then over the next couple of weeks, researchers from the show will contact you to offer you a selection of filming dates from which you can choose to attend if your application has been successful.

Filming will always take place on a Saturday, so you will need to be at the studios by 10am on the Saturday morning. The Paintball Show will provide you with refreshments and drinks during the day and filming will take several hours.

After the show, all of the audience are invited to spend a night out in the local town with the crew, presenters and guests of the show.

All successful applicants will receive an ‘Audience Pack’ via email from our researchers prior to attending which will explain everything that you’ll need to know (i.e. timings, exact locations and directions, legal requirements as well as information regarding the format of the show and the audience's role during the filming).

To be brutually honest, we are a small fish in this pond.
Im just worried that all our efforts to get Paintball on the map will be laughed at. From the tourney side of the fence, its hard enough to get joe public's mind set past the woodsball aspect.

I wouldn't say that... Staargate sees tourney players attending, holding sessions - even teaming up with woodsballers for some games..

Planet Gunfighters - This is a great idea. Players will in due course get the chance to sign up to play in the Planet Gunfighters. When each player signs up, they will classify themselves as one of 5 types of player:

1) Pro tournament
2) Amateur tournament
3) Experienced scenario
4) Newer scenario
5) Rental

We'll take one player from each category and place them in a five man team - that will be your team. So each 5 man team will be a mix of scenario and tournament players of varying degrees of experience and also a brand new rental player.

Each team will have time to walk the playing area, discuss tactics and come up with a game plan. Then all the teams will play each other in a knockout style format until we get two teams into the final and the winner will be crowned the first ever Planet Gunfighters Champion and will take the trophy and some special prizes we've got lined up.
The game format will be unique and we'll publish the details in due course. It'll not be a scenario game, it'll not be a tournament game and it'll not be a woodland tournament style game - it'll be something completely unique that will require scenario and tournament skills. The 5 man scratch team who can blend their tournament and scenario players into a well functioning unit quickest will win! It'll be great fun and we may even have some special guests taking part :wink:

This is showing that they want to try to strike some form of alliance with both 'camps', so to speak - far too long there has been this 'rift' between the two styles for some reason. I've played both - I like both. Keep itching to try tournament paintball again... but alas, I am one of these fat, sweaty guys that you all talk about :/

With Shoreline working so closely with ledz and Planet Eclipse I think it will have some good coverage but how much will be UK based is anyones guess.

Who's the target demographic here, is it paintballers, or joe public? Case in point, there is 'The Cycle Show' on mondays. As a cyclist, I find it a bit naff, but I guess it may not be made for cyclists, more newbie cyclists. Is this going to be the same?

Cycle-Snob huh? There seem to be more of you guys around since we got the TDF result. They hang around on forums and try to insert cycling references and analogies into random topics...
