I really hope that we get chance to see things like CPPS and the masters on this. Love watching the american stuff, but never see any of the UK stuff

Really? There is a bit of a diffrence between a psp or nppl and a cpps event. If a tourniment aspect is covered then nothing lower than milleniums should be included IMO.
Who wants to see a bunch of people roll around in a muddy field? Then again I'm still not sure who wants to see paintball

Certainly something that I'll try to watch, despite it being on Sky (yeck) but do agree with Jay that I can see the audience being limited. It'll be interesting to see how they pitch the game as paintball is fundamentally a really boring sport to watch, even supair when top teams are involved (I was sat watching Dynasty as Basildon on Sunday and 99% of the play was a snore-fest).

This should be interesting and will watch it once it airs.

Good luck to whoever has been involved in this with Sky, it takes alot of balls and money to get into this area. So, as we all love Paintball, we should get behind this and suck it up and hope that this promotes us and the game in a good light. Hopefully we may be able to get more media interest and more people/companies into the game.

I think this is why a magazine style show has a better chance of being a success. As shoreline say, its sort of Match of the Day so highlights from tournies (cutting out the 99%) would be more interesting. good for the sponsors of the teams to see their products on national TV.

Viewers can then get to see the players behind the mask, the kit they use and the tactics behind a win at a tournie, so its easy to move it away from the boring bits and widen the appeal.
Same applies for the scenario side of things, it would be murder to record a scenario game but with the number of gun/head cams out there it should always be possible to get some decent footage.
If behind the bunker can output a 90 min show from someone basement via YouTube then i am sure us Brits can do a kick ass job with a great 60 min show that highlights the best of paintball.

I understand that the format is sorted and that the presenters are pretty much signed on.

I'd like to see a "Short Bus" style segment with Cook$, Al Woods and Chris Latham presenting it.

I think a few challenges would be good aswell, making the audience laugh and also testing some 'guests' skills with a gun or grenade etc. :)

Sounds really good and well thought out, well done to anyone/everyone involved and i hope to be one of those in that studio audience watching it live :D

Sounds like the way to go - I don't like watching football matches either, but can at least appreciate the edited 'best goals' segments, so that should translate well if they can compile footage of the best muggings together with 'oops my hopper fell off' stuff as well. Really looking forward to it :)

People watch fishing, snooker, darts, even.......cricket! Surely paintball has to be more exciting than those!? :p

It states a magazine style format, so I'm sure any game footage will be highlights with all the good bits picked out.

This is quite an exciting opportunity for paintball and I can't wait to see how the show turns out.

I find it quite sad that there are already others being negative about this, simply because of who is involved in it. Who cares who is doing it, paintball is going to have the opportunity of mainstream TV exposure. It just seems that some would wish it to fail just to see a certain party fail and lose money, or be sitting all bitter if they make it a success that we acually all benefit from.

Me? I'll be waiting to watch, in anticipation, and hope it goes well so the series is extended into a regular one. Anyone else hoping it will be like a 'Top Gear' for paintball? :)
