Agreed, filming games is hard though, even with a decent budget the Yank stuff can be dull. I reckon we will be looking at a paintball Gadget Show. No bad thing. Jason Bradbury would make a good star guest, he likes a bit of paintball action.

Suzy Perry and Pollyanna would also be welcome........

(especially Suzy Perry)

Thank you WJDUNK, thats all i was after, a straight answer........Niallist and co are too far up Tims arse to answer properly and think that they can come on other forums with the bullying snydness they use on their own forums. Lets hope the programme does represent ALL in paintball and not just Timboys little world.
I don't know you pal, but you're starting to piss me off already.

We aren't here to bash other people, other forums, other companies. If you have a problem, take it up with them directly and stop airing your dirty laundry in public.

This is your warning, next one will be a forum holiday.

It's quite clear on the original link about the connection with Shoreline and Tim / Shoreline are indicated as the creators of the programme whchi will be televised on Sky:
“This is a big opportunity for paintball in the UK and further afield. The opportunity to have a regular weekly television show beamed into every household, every hotel and every bar in the UK and Ireland and shown in a further 34 countries as well as the internet is an enormously exciting prospect for everyone involved in the game. It’s a hugely ambitious project but there is no reason why paintball should not be ambitious and go for it. So we have.”
Tim Barnett, Shoreline Paintball – Creators of The Paintball Show

Many have tried to televise paintball, doing so as a game has repeatedly failed with two exceptions that have each had a single series on UK TV - 'Mission paintball' and 'X-Fire'
A game show with a woodland league format resulting in a tournament style final episode, and a heavily scripted game show. Mission Paintball is the mose successful with repeats every few years to pick up a new late night audience - no need to waste money filming a new series, just repeat the same one.

To succeed and get a viewer base this will have to do more than to cater for the niche markets of scenario and tournament paintball, and looks to be able to do that in a magazine format.

Bit of a good pointer to flag up Jason Bradbury - the man behind the only successful UK paintball TV programme.

It would be nice for it to encompass all aspects of our sport-be it sup air, woodland or forum trolling. On a serious note I hope the guys behind it are able to make it engaging to the general public and us paintballers alike-that is the real target is it not? Talk about how to play, what is involved show some tourney action and big game stuff [from all games, not just one particular company] and highlight fields to go and try the game out so we swell the numbers in the community so that petty bickering will not kill the sport......again.
Plus maybe a 'day in the life' style segment...featuring Dusty and his collection of paintball figurines....Niall and his rubber chicken collection...Buddha rapping......LIPS eating pies...how the CPPS/Masters guys set up the fields for a tourney..how a big game is organised etc etc
