Its was a real shame that the game had to be cancelled, I can understand why it was and all the best to the chap that got injured, hope he makes a quick and full recovery.

BUT . . . I would like to say that I am very disapointed at how poorly the information that the game was cancelled was put out. There should have been an email put out to everyone, using the same mailing list that sent out the players pack. Not everybody spends allot of time on facebook and the forums and thats me included, had a 130mile round trip for no reason and diesel aint too cheap these days.

Did you check your e-mails before leaving on your 130 mile round trip?

The games held in the middle of no where with players attending from all over the country, information isn't easy to pass around and i doubt many people checked their e-mails before leaving, but i bet lots checked facebook and the forums for weekend updates.

130 miles in a diesel engine = approx £15's worth.! you must be hard-up or driving a class1 HGV.!!

try running a car that does 15 miles/gallon or living in scotland where some players travelled from to be just as let down as you but sucked it up all the same.!!!

Not saying that i had it worse than anyone else and not asking for anything back. Just think that an email circulated should have have been the way to get the message out, phones being as they are nowadays i wouldnt need to check my emails, it would have been allerted to me.

For me on site with an O2 phone, I had only GPRS signal. Now, the cell site probably is quite small out there and with all the guys on site using it, I daresay the bandwidth of the transmitter wasn't up to much data flying about..

Certainly wasn't enough to remote onto another PC and get the email lists - it would barely send emails with attachments :)

Having said that, at 7:30am news was already out about it being cancelled..

Thats a fair point WildWayz and well made too. I'll except it and agree that given the circumstances the email was probably out of the question.

Again all the best to the guy that got hurt, and look forward to hearing about the game that will replace the BoB tickets.

The Saturday was awesome though. A real shame about today but we had an absolute great time. Huge thanx to Shoreline, YPC and everyone behind the scenes.
