Hmmmm ...... I'm hearing of extremely bad [serious] problems emanating from this event ...... and these are problems that could well impair any notion of integration with the PSP ...... If the things I've heard are true, and there's no reason for me to doubt the authenticity of what I've been told, I wouldn't be betting any money on integration.
Under normal circumstances, talks of integration would be dead in the water, we shall see if industry pressure is enough for certain people to ignore certain issues that have now become apparent.

If I was in control of the PSP or indeed have any influence, I'd be pulling outa that deal faster than an iced bun disappears when Piper's around ....

Importing some British Refs would solve some of the NPPL's problems, like Pure Promotions did with Joy at HB 2003.

I've also heard that the much vaunted TV deal with ESPN and the NPPL that was on, then off, then back on again finally settling for off ..... I'd like 5 quid for every time I have heard this scenario with regard to TV deals over the years .. truth of the matter is, I don't think there is one TV production of paintball that we haven't had to fund ourselves.
The notion that companies like ESPN would pay to film our sport is all but dead in the water .... looking back, it seems more like a delusional indulgence than a reasonable expectation.

Maybe, we will see this deal back on the table but history helps write the script of reasonable expectation here ....if we ever get a TV deal where an outside production company or sports channel actually pays us to film like they do with soccer, baseball or whatever, If we get one, I'll eat Ledzy'z underpants ....

Agge, then you'll also know I'm no mug ... do you honestly think I'd risk having to eat Ledzy's underpants even if there was one chance in ten million of them pulling it off ..... you've witnessed the self-same things as me Agge and you know full well if we didn't manage to do it in our heyday, then we sure as sh!t ain't gonna do it now.

Our sport is a lot more fragile than it was five or so years back and the US now has to put with a reduced dollar turnover that amounts to about one third of what it used to be mainly due to a decreased playing demographic .....

This is not exactly the best platform to launch any mainstream media initiative ....

I know you know what your talking about Pete!

I remember the very first time I saw paintball on tv back in 1995 (?), think it was the ESPN show of playing paintball hiding behind red and white doors on a cowfield in Orlando. It sucked and I have since never believed in paintball ever making it on TV. So far I´ve been right but after you made that promise I can´t help but crossing my fingers just a tad bit more for it to happen! :)
