Well what can i say.. I cant belive im writing this but How dissapointing..
Where shall i start?
The time is 15:00, its an hour drive to get back, and ive been home 1/2 an hour, i couldn't stay any longer..
After a big LONG... talk on fair play and Safety i was shocked to see players not playing by the rules:

i cant tell you how many times i was overshot after i had raised my hand and gun in the air.. it even happened in front of a marshall..

Players not coming out once been shot... come on guys seriously...

There were several Bounderies not taped!! i would of thought for £50 per player the site could of had sufficent boundery tape..
this was on more than one field..

Also we were shot whilst showing the marshall where the area was, and apolagised by the offending player which wasnt a problem as he didnt se the marshall.. but then his following team players shot us as well as him... use your eyes

Even the Catering van was not equiped, christ no bacon or sausages by 9:00 no cold drinks..

I was so looking forward to this event and am that P*ssed off!
that i have decided it will be my last game.

A big thankyou to those i have played with in the past.

Hi Renie
I did my first woodland scenario game earlier this year and had a very similar experience. Overshooting, players not calling themselves out when shot and an at best chaotic scenario convinced me it was not an experience I wanted to repeat.
Cheers
Rich :)

Tha same thing happened to me last weekend at the Mayhem big game but thats what happens when Rambo comes out to play!
w:)
when you do these senario/big game type things there are never enougth refs so wipping is going to happen.so some over shooting is inevitable.

I got no problem taking a few extra shots, what got me was the drilling I got in the back after I had been shot, with hands and gun in the air. It wasn't just once it happened a few to many times

People get frustrated and it sounds like they took out on you. As for the other stuff, not taped off right and the food issue. Sounds like not great value for money. Also the usual thieving went on. I was at the mayhem big game and that was a very well put together event brilliant site. Also one of my friends lost a playing top on the field and one of the marshalls returned it to him at the end of the day. We told him it was lost and not to expect to see it again so very surprised when it came back.

High point of the sunday game was the first hour firefight for the CIA, all the blacks I shot were walking.

Low point of the weekend was my team mate having his Empire Axe 'nicked' for the main staging area.

Most enjoyable part of the weekend was the steak and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake on the way home!

There were other good point but there were always plenty of disappointments and potentially some serious flaws on this event, the density of tents in the camping field being one.

Would I do another Super 6 events? Maybe depends on the site.
Would I go back to Holmbush? Not really
Would I go to another Shoreline event? No.
