It's a great and unexpected result, and when things like this plop into your lap then it can mean there's bigger and better things around the corner ... it's all about what we [Brits] do from now on ... we can either use it, or we can lose it ... our choice!!!

Fantastic result guys !!!

TBH, I think Team GB will kick everybody's ass an give us back a sense of national pride.

Solid playing and coaching roster. Don't forget to keep it 90!

If you need a Paper Bitch, I'm there.

And good to see the MS continually pushing back the boundaries of customer relations.

We should all get behind our boys and support them, not only for playing but for digging deep into their pockets.

GO TEAM GB!
Told you so.

The phrases "British Team" and "national pride" strike a chord with some people, and they rise to the top when the need presents itself.

Congrats

A good result by team GB/UK/England, well done.

On the point of the name, it would be nice if the MS would show the respect to get it right and use it consistently (not that I am suggesting any intent to intentionaly disrespect).

Was it a GB team and therefore exclude Northern Ireland players?
Or a UK team and include them?
Was it an England team, as referred to regularly in commentary?

We wouldn't (or at least the MS seemingly wouldn't) call the Netherland team 'Holland' so why do we get the UK team named incorrectly?

A small bit of due diligence might be in order

Call me an old pedant......

Great day....
London Nexus 2nd - played well. Lost in final 5-1
Birmingham disruption winners - get in!!
I didnt see the last match but having watched the demolition of Dynasty I suspected that Nexus may have just played the 'final' in their heads and may not reach the same heights in the next game.

I assumed that if they had played as well in the final as in the semi then the title was theirs. Anyone see both and would care to expand?

In any case, great result Nexus; George and Jason played exceptionally well, steadied by Neil consistently and driven on so well by Clint when it really mattered.

Quite right, Mark.

So, how about entering the same squad in WC under the "Team UK" name?

The dynasty performance was quality, and the guys took that into the russians without a doubt on a high!!
However the russians definately turned their game up a level from their semi final thats was clear to see!!
Federov shooting 3 nexus out whilst blatantly already shot however definately helped!

The boys took a hard earned 2nd place and it was a great thing to watch and support!

"Gives with one hand, takes with other." Where have I heard that before?;):D
Sorry Pete couldn't stop my mischievous side, but actually I agree, we need to build on this, teams in the UK can only get better if we don't destroy from the inside.

I don't need my Prime to outshoot Pebb thanks .. I could do that blind-folded and shooting with a catapult .... Mind you, he's a feckin good player along with his brother, I know that much.
Looks like a really good team [apart from one] but it's a real shame they didn't get any time to play together and get used to each other.
There is always a possibility that if the technical side of these guy's games click, then they can win the event.... they got the hired gunmen all lined up that's for sure and they've also got the necessary experience - I wish the team the very best of luck !!!!
click click !!!
What an honour it was to play as part of team GB and win it, thansks to everyone involved aspecially Twizz and Spike Markie-C and to Celtic for the amazing paint !!

i have never played with 6 of the members of GB it was truly amazing how everying just came together for us it was hard work but it definately paid off.
