1. Ditch ramping. It kills movement, and BPS is on a steadily downward spiral since the heady days of 2003/4.
2. Ditch coaching. It also kills movement.
3. I'm not going to say ditch X-Ball. There is still a place for it amongst the Ayran supermen of the paintball community.
4. Forget about playing the MS. Only a small percentage of UK teams play it consistently anyway, so they won't miss us much.
5. Go & play in the US for a couple of seasons - your skill level will increase so much you'll come back and smash everyone in the MS, if you are inclined to play it again.
6. Fix prices for paint at a reasonable level.

Flame away!

Number 5 although a lovely fantasy is just that!!! A fantasy! How many people can afford to fly over reguarly or move out there for a couple of years! Most UK ballers are too old or in no realistic position to do it!

Correct. But many UK teams are not in a position to commit to a full season of MS CPL or SPL.

I'm not advocating that every UK tournament team should do this - just the ones who aspire to get to the top.

For example, when Robbo formed Nexus, did he make a beeline for the MS?

Do the math - what I am proposing is that you will get better VFM and your skill level will soar.

But..ask robbo how much money was injected to get that team to the states reguarly! Im sure he Will say all the training required can be done on home.soil too!!

If you go over there you would still only play at a level you feel you can be conpetitive at...therefire would it really improve your game!?

In a way it would. Partly because you may not have the accessibility of a sufficient place to train. Whereas you may not get that here. Moreover the better training facilities and training regimes will in effect help your game because you will learn new things that you may not already know. But at the end of the day, it's all experience and the more exposure you will have to a sport at a high level the more you will know about good ways to win a game. So all in all, i think it would improve your game

For having played in semi in the past.
I like the actual 10bps millenium mode, i don't think it is fast enough to kill moves.
And it allow players to concentrate more on the game than sitting and trying to shoot a line at 20bps.

entry for 1 PSP event is about £1900 flights about £350 plus hotel and paint and spending money........thats a lot of cash per event!!!!!!!!!!

It is. But then, how much is an MS CPL or SPL licence these days? Plus paint, spends, hotels & travel?

I think about £4500 for 4 events no flights but about (£70 travel) £60 each for hotel.......so not as much as PSP!!! and of cause if meand more time off work also

We do go to World cup as you know and do learn a lot but can't really do all the events
