Sounds to me as though the eye is working as it should and as Lovetone suggests, detecting something in the breech and then reverting to "fault" when that object is not fired down the barrel as it thinks that there has been a fault e.g. burst.

Firstly, can you switch the eyes off (top pushbutton) and dry-fire the marker with no paint? If not then push on the back of your bolt and see if you have any resistance there caused by the marker having air-pressure in the rammer chamber.

A full service would cost £30 + parts, but as its an Ego10 make sure that you have registered it for warranty in our Warranty Centre (https://www.planeteclipse.com/warranty) and we'll take care of you free of charge. If you need further assistance give me a call on (0161) 8725572 or email me on: nick.t@planeteclipse.com.

erm how does it matter which way round you put your eyes in??

the reciever will still have a beam towards it

bin a while since i had an ego

but

doesnt it mean its in training mode??
Training mode is designated by a "T" in the BBSS symbol.

It needs to be in the right hand side due to the way the holes are, the eye will not sit perfectly in the other side.
Incorrect - the eyes will sit perfectly on either side as they are identical BUT due to the Deftek Feed System the receiver needs to be on the more sheltered right hands side of the breech.

Yeah yeah show off, people will start thinking you know what your doing soon Nicky ;)
Fingers crossed Sidney :D

Looks like Ricktick1 is all sorted now though; he called me up earlier at Eclipse and it turns out that his Inline regulator was incorrectly set meaning that the marker was never going to fire. Glad that he's back up and running.
