iPad 3G

I tend to leave the ipad in flight mode so i know it wont connect without me knowing. I've only used the 3g twice, most of the time is wifi
I went for the pay as you go, but you can get a micro usim from anyone.

If you must get the 3g version just go pay as you go. You can always upgrade the plan later if needed.

If I were you though I would just save the £100 and get the wifi only version given how patchy 3g signal can be and the times that you would want to use the pad for internet etc when not near wifi.

I got the 3g as I'm not intending to get rid of it any time soon, and its one of those things that you don't use much but really annoying sometimes if you don't have it!

I recently got the ipad and could not decide upon getting from the uk or stateside. After checking online for america the costs did not seem much difference.

I asked in the apple shop in the uk and was told if bought abroad then there would be no issues with warranty, but in best buys where I bought it the saleman reckoned he had had customers in that had bought from america and had problems especially with charging. Twisted my arm and bought the 64GB wifi version, used for 2 weeks in america and just loved it and now back in the uk have changed my Blackberry for a Iphone.

Apple is the way to go (Angry Birds Rocks !!!!!!!!)
