We we're definitely under the impression that a dead mans walk was no longer allowed under the rules of the Millennium after we had one pulled on us on thursday. The head referee could only say 'I cannot control a player moving on the field'

If this is the case it'll turn into a farce at one point, people waving hands to show they are out only to turn and shoot people in the back.

The only problem is, how do we control such a thing as a player other than making sure a player is out, properly out!

As well as the dead mans, we also had an actual dead player turn and shoot us seemingly annoyed that we had won the last point. How he didn't get a ban I dont know. The same player who I saw shoot a player fairly down the snake in another game, only to run past the 'dead' player and shoot another ball into the back of his head from about a foot away as the ref ran away to 1-4-1 a player.

I hope players like this realise that one day they will get what's coming for them, and I would take pleasure in seeing them moan about it

Deadmans walk is a classic manouver, if you have the balls to try it then good on you. Think of the number of times you've been hit standing up or waking off the field with you arm up, then you realise how hard it actually is to pull off a walk. It's a lot better than playing on, bunker rubbing hits or sliding off hits which are all against the rules and people were calliing acceptable cheating in a topic a few months ago.

The refs were shouting at anyone they called out to put their hand on their head and were giving penalties to dead players that didn't. If someone is on the field and doesn't have their hand on their head then you should assume they are live and shoot them. (as long as they aren't in black and white stripes)

The Etek on the wrong mode also shows the paintball rumour mill in full swing. By the time we turned up one of the other midlands teams told us that one of the Lucky 15's who was playing had been banned for his gun being on PSP mode. Even though they hadn't played yet and were still eating breakfast back at the hotel.

Well, dead mans aside, I thought it was a great atmosphere, everyone came and shook hands after each game, teams were helping out other teams.....very friendly! Ledz also lent me his pack (thank you Ledz!), so I was only doing the same

I guess we will all have to practice the DMW for next time

I am blaming no one apart from the player him self, when he sticks his hand in the air so our team looks the other way to shoot the rest of his team because of the fast pace of the game you just move to the next target,

Yeah fair enough its a lesson learned and it wont happen again but then we will be branned a team who over shoots dead players but i would rather be that and taken for a sucker next time.

Its just gets you Owen, after doing so well to be knocked out like that it still hurts and i don't play any more i coach the other side to were it happened but it is seeing our team broken after it what has got to me hope you understand that.

Actually it was a Loki player, and he was banned and we had to play with 4 players for half of our games

no one ever made a name for themselves in paintball by walking around the sidelines
they are cheating themselves and also making their teammates look like t**ts

i only bough this subject up as it shows the otherside of what was happening...
