ASYLUMKILLER makes some good points. I was going to get it for Mayhem's world at war and other events coming up but looking at UKPSF's website Mayhem are only a recomended paintball site* and so are a lot of the other places i'm going to, this whole paintball cover doesn't cover much of the big events even though they recomend it.

*I would like the state that this was correct time of posting.

Thankyou my freind! there are just too many grey areas and if it is going to be done properly theyre can't be any doubt! I'm just fed up with paying out for something that I will never use!!!!

Seems to me that we are paying for the insurance that the sites should have. Personally I already have all the insurance I need.
So this is just a paintball Tax.

I would have more faith in this scheme if the UKPSF website didn't say they don't even look at the sites they cover and if they published policy details.

"Site membership does not constitute approval of the site as there is NO site inspection as a criteria for membership."
So your existing insurance would cover you if your bottle blew up and a site had to shut down for weeks for the investigation,I am sure the site owner would be coming after you for his loss of earnings as his site insurance wouldn't cover your equipment only his own.
what happens if you bottle explodes at the filling station and i am stood next to you,do you think the site should compensate me if your equipment fails or do you think i should walk away (if i can ) and say you should have a choice if your insured or not.
it not only protects you but also the people that could be affected by you.

Yes my liabilty insurance would cover that. As my bottles are all Pi spec and tested then it certainly wouldn't be my insurance that's covering you.

If sites provide gas filling stations for you own equipment then they bloody well should be insured for you to fill your bottles.

non of you get it,as gassy as said if your bottle blows up and hurts somebody
there will be an investigation by the hse,if it is then proven that the blame is with you as you have done something wrong when filling it or maintained it wrong then you are liable not the site
