I don't bother voting, don't see the point as every government we vote for cocks up some how and manages to line their own pockets and always get caught doing some thing naughty ie buying more cars than they're alloted, buying second homes on tax payers money and renting them out to family & friends... oh yeah almost forgot about the dude who was using our money to watch a Hotel Blue Movie! I also hate it when people say "You have no right to say your not happy with the way government does things as you don't vote!" Well sorry for you, at least if I don't vote, I have a clean concience for when who ever it is, decides to change their policy after the election to screw us over... yet again. Wonder how they'll rob us this time? I still don't know how we get charged 75% (or how ever much it is) tax on fuel?

Just my opinion, so if I sound like an ignorant pratt I claim ignorance! I know nothing about politics nor do I want to, but the little I do know puts me off. I know they do some good for the country with certain things but they are usually over shadowed with scandals etc...
Not as crazy as it sounds mate. There's been a good many years during which I didn't vote.
The reason was simple. If I want to give you my vote, I should be agreeing with you almost 100%. It's very rare for this to happen, but lately there have been a few politicians in Holland that I am quite impressed with, after having spoken to them personally. One of them is the mayor of my city.

As for that argument that if yo don't vote, you have no right to bitch and moan, that's just crap. You could just as easily argue that if you do vote, you've given your right to speak to somebody else.

In short, never vote for the people disagree with the least, vote for the people you actually agree with! The lesser of two evils is still an evil after all. So think hard and sensibly before you vote.

I would vote bnp as usual, however I believe we do need a change, and the only realistic option to bring that change in is to vote conservative
Dammit Bon, I don't know whether I should wanna beat you senseless for being a BNP supporter, or should admire your courage for publicly stating your support for the BNP within a small community that for the most part is VERY anti BNP.

Choices, choices...:D

Was anyone else amazed by Nick Cleggs honesty and the way he actually answered questions and put forward his policies, never seen that in a politican before.

Then Cameron and Brown didn't answer anything and just told stories about how evil the otherside were.

It is only the 2nd time i will have bothered voting and I will give my vote to the Lib Dems.

Labour were stupid enough to be stitched up by Tory supporting Bankers
Tories are just going to reward those people more
As a Labour supporter from youth it pains to say that its time to give the Lib Dems a chance to prove themselves
As for Bon being a BNP supporter. Typical gullible youth is the polite response

Im voting against labour. Not particularly impressed with the Cons or Cameron.
But they have my vote.

Imagine if Labour get in a third time, thats it for England and our economy.
The Champagne socialists will wish the rest of it away, sitting in luxury in Westminster pretending to support the working man. What a load of hipocrite cnuts.

Our entire country is in negative equity. The average new born Baby owes £20,000 to chinese banks because of Labours crazy borrowing. Thats more money that we spend educating the child.

All our failed industries are being propped up by the successful ones and by the tax payer.

We spend billions every year supporting the EU. So they can tell us how bendy our bananas must be. Yet the auditors refuse to sign off on the EU each year because billions go missing into peoples back pockets.

When gold prices were at their very lowest, Gordon Brown sold 400 metric tonnes of gold.
Losing our country ten billion dollars. Although making Gordons friends some cash on the side.

Labour politicians make up 90% of the expenses scandal and are the only ones wanting to use legal aid to defend themselves.

Our country is on the brink of running out of money and Labour dont want you to know until after the election.

Now that big businses has totally deserted Labour, they are in some confused state where they are financed entirely by the Unions, at the same time as battling with them to stop strikes.

The sad part is, everyone beleives labours populist promises. The same ones they made last election, and the election before.

Remember Blairs education education education. Yet Labour have right royally f*d up our education system with league tables.

The thing about promises, if you dont intend to keep them they can be as great sounding as you like.
