I'll stick this in the one thread, cannot be bov'd doing the others
this morning the rain was horrendous, but it was the danger of the lightning overhead which stopped play, we were literally potted and good to
go invade the call was made. There is no problem at all with the netting or the bunkers, so the millennium team are really at no blame there.
Around 1pm we were told the days play was off but no more than an hour later the skies cleared and now it's pretty glorious.
So...
There's been talk of playing games on Monday if at all possible as plenty f teams will be stuck with the volcano havoc. What happens tomorrow we don't know, no doubt we'll spend another 6 hours waiting about and play no ball, after a long ass drive, I don't think I should begin to explain our feelings. The only positive thing is, we have a guaranteed way of getting back, albeit a long one
we've had so many people asking for a ride as it's bound to be a nightmare just getting away from here other than driving.
Time to pop open the vodka I threw in my bag and try and avoid being taken to the strip club by the crazy yanks, one of which has disappeared since last night!!!
