making the shiny shiny...shinier!!!

was thinking of polishing up my DM7 bolt for greater smoothness with a metal polish such as brasso and maybe the inside of my barrel...

but before i do that i though id best ask forst b4 i completly bugger up my marker

any pros and cons i shud be wary of? or is it an outright dont do it!

I know there is a guy on pbnation that does it but to be honest, if you want a polished bolt that much, just buy a billywing bolt

Thats pretty much the effect i was hoping for and spending 10 minutes polishing my bolt ( no pun or inuendo intended ) is alot more cost effective than buying a billy wing bolt.

Also again along the same lines, could i polish the inside of my barrel backs to get better FPS on a lower HPR setting? or would this just complicate things?

I sincerely doubt you and a can of brasso can out-do micro honing on the inside of a bore
