I am not saying that lump has played a lack of events,
What i am saying is that i think it would be better for some one who isnt a mod,
Its only a opinion like i said and to be honest i could only think of a couple of people, like karl whittaker from our team who could do a good job, he is level headed and has a lot of time on his hands at the moment cause he is waitting to come out of the army.

not sure who's pocket you think im in by being a MOD ? but it really not that big a deal
If karl can't make it why don't you give it a shot as the rep for up north? you and the firm have been around and about abit, played in a lot of uk tournaments, and i know you know what your talking about (most of the time
)If not what about one of the guys from so manc or method?
All the good things i hear about Twizz makes him a great candidate.
Reading up the posts, the FED's sounds like they are looking for more than one representative for the voice of us players (players as in everyone who plays paintball in the UK, not just for the players whom fully commit at the higher levels).
Great idea in my opinion, as UK has a few series, it might be too much for just the one representative to handle. Having two reps, one south, one north , both working together.
I cannot understand why there would be any issues being a mod on these forums at the same time being a rep on the FED's board as a voice for players.
The Feds and P8ntballer are two complete different entities. There are rules on the forum which the mods have a job to do, other than that, the mods are just normal users.
From a players point of view, Lump has great charactor (spell), talks to almost every player around, will listen to players and help them in many ways.

Actually, we didn't really have any specific number in mind, we just realised the necessity for transparency and there's no better way to achieve this than by inviting players onto the board.
I'm not sure there needs to be two reps because of any north - south divide any more than having 3 when factoring in the midlands, and so on and so on.
I think the Fed will discuss this at our next meeting because it's certainly something we can move relatively quickly upon in getting someone [or more than one] on board.
There isn't a problem ...the only problem is in the minds of people who sit around creating problems or who have agendas.
Paintball is a small industry/sport and so there will always be overlaps of responsibility.
Many people will wear several different hats and maybe on some occasions there might be compromises but if people are responsible and there is some degree of accountability, then you can't go too far wrong, that's the theory anyway.
Its not that i am saying that you are in any ones pocket mate dont read different things into it, what i am saying is like what pete just said about

and thats what i was thinking you would be a great choice what i am saying is that further down the line some one might take some thing the wrong way and make some thing of you being a MOD like people have in the past about pete owning this forum.
My thought's are just what is best for the fed no personal issues towards you it was just a thought if people/players are cool with it then thats cool, it would only be a small section if that who would say any thing if it all.
Sorry if i am not making my point clear and it look's like i am saying your no good for the job dude that was the last thing on my mind. I shouldnt of said any thing in the first place i just worry about the futrue.
and rob i thank you for thinking about me in that way but i wouldnt be able to give it the time it deserves all i want is what is best for my players and team so i just concerntrate on them.
you know me and the wife Markie and you know a Paintball is our life. we have nothing out side of the sport and a chance to help and move things forward would be some thing positive. sorry if itook you wrong way and i now see what you mean
