Sorry guys but have i missed something here??? since when has paintballing had this proletariat class, are you any better than a person who is proud to wear their jerseys for what ever reason they so wish to, personally I’ll wear whatever I wish when ever i like and what smug people say behind my back, or our loud in public mean bott all to me. I'd rather be comfortable and happy than cynical and happy through the expense of others. In the words of Oscar Wilde "There is only one thing worse than being talked about and that is NOT being talked about."
I hear you preaching brother, and your not wrong......you are very wrongerer! Its cheesy and sad at best. I personally dont care if you do, I wont laugh or talk behind anyones back. BUT, if you ask my opinion, its not a good look off the field.

Im sure any shirt "sponsors" would really appreciate you wearing their gear and logos down the pub/players party. Representing a company sometimes means having the forethought to wear a plain t-shirt out if you are getting drunk.

I wear all my kit all of the time. Pads, mask, everything. Even my pack and pots. Sometimes, when I'm out and about, I even pretend to play a little bit, you know, supermanning into somewhere.

But this isn't a new thing, I've done it with every hobby. I dabbled in Kendo for a while, and wore my mask, skirt, and carried my stick-thing. Back when I used to be a falconer, I used to wear my glove and carry a hawk or two.

But paintball kit is by far the most comfortable, and I love wearing it out. I mean, how else would the people in ASDA know to buy DYE stuff?

Only ever wear kit to or from an event, only ever have, only ever will.......

Get some really funny look in the summer wearing my empire vest in the petrol stations and alike. Almost reminds me of a very loud stab vest, similar to what the police wear....

The consensus of this is that, yes its OK to wear your playing kit to an event, though I would baulk at doing so on public transport, but probably not on the way home, especially if its all banged up and covered in mud and paint! My rule is that if your travelling with me you bring clean clothes for the journey back as you're not wearing your filthy kit in my motor, end of, those that haven't have found themselves sat in their underwear, fortunately for everybody's blushes I always have a couple of blankets in the boot.

Wearing playing kit to the shops, pub, on holiday, to players parties etc. is just wrong and makes you look a ****! if you need to represent wear some casual gear, if your team identity/not being able to recognise your team mates when pissed, is an issue to you get some t-shirts printed up!

I am ashamed to say that I did once pull a girl in a student union whilst wearing a pair of Dye Hybrids... (should tell you how long ago it was!)

The disappointing part of that night out was the phone call in the morning from my mate (and lift to the university) telling me that whilst I was occupied during the night his car had been broken into and my kitbag stolen along with every other piece of paintball kit I owned at the time.

Learnt from that mistake!

I once had a chick call me after playing paintball at our field, and ask me out. I was chuffed, and went out for an extremely exciting night with her.
The following week she called and literally asked if I would 'Keep my reffing gear on'
I kid you not. I felt like a total piece of meat.
