That is SO embarrassing.... Not only now - but yeah just imagine how good they have to perform in Malaga now that they´ve been able to practise the field earlier than everyone else

But surely someone had to try the layout and see if it works or not?
It's all well and good designing a field but if it does not play right then that would be a bigger problem, or am I missing something? I get what is being said about them having practiced it more etc but someone has to is my point.............

I agree, some one has to test it, if the date is to be believed then it was on the 27th feb and they released it the following week on the 5th march
I agree mate maybe someone should contact the millennium and see about getting it here in UK for once........ Just an idea

could you just move that tree because it,s in the way no
may be giving players a field they don,t know when they arrive at events might shake it up abit
then it don,t come down to who can afford to train the most
but more to the team that can adapt and conquer

If my memory serves me correctly I am sure there was a field design committee, what happened to them anyone know?
Also if it was put out to teams, as a vote, I wonder how many would vote for not seeing the fields so when you get to an event there is an element of field walking skills involved, which is a part of the game that is lacking in the new format.
