Planet Piper away from you freaks!
True they are the organiser but they started releasing the fields because it is what the teams wanted...... I maybe wrong on this so if someone knows the reason let me know.

Personally I think they should not be released as walking the field is a skill that is lacking today. I always enjoyed working out a game plan while walking the field for hours, just added to the whole experience. But that being said if the Millennium/ teams want the fields released I still think they should have a team play it before it is released. What they should do is maybe rotate it between teams in each country :D

Chocolate Hob Nobs......... Good shout!

Totally agree with Pipes here, especially about the chocolate hob nobs, it would be interesting to see if the same teams that generally do well at events can adapt to play a field that they have never played on, just walked. Saying that, I wonder if the yank teams that come over to play the MS play on the fields much prior an event ?

If we are to try and become unified with the PSP (are we trying to do this still?) then I guess releasing the fields prior the events will stay.

Bricketwood could have had the field in order to try it out. So this video was released a week before the official release, doesn't mean the ton ton have only had it for a week !!

dirty french I say....

Leigh........ Always blame the French where possible mate you know that!

True does not mean they only had it a week, but also does not mean they did not have it for a week............ Wait hold on they are French I bet they had it for a least 3 months!

If you release the field in this way, I think you will always run across this problem someone should try it but then they have played it more than the next team, which does give them an advantage. But (and I am talking top teams here) they should be able to adapt and overcome this issue. Like you say Leigh the Americans that come over probably don't play the field before they get to the events.

Well, with a certain team trying it out, it would be reasonable to assume that they also could influence the layout in order to suit their needs and strengths.

Imo, a skilled and rational player creating layouts, wouldnt need a team to test it out before releasing it.

And im all for no release prior to the event anyway, it kills diversity. But there is another good point about it. How many times have you gone to an event to realise that they didnt set it up properly?

But hey, it helps Sup Air sell more fields, so watcha gonna do.

Which ever way you look at it its a bit naughty.

This is what puts people off the MS i think, cause its seems like "jobs for the boys" when the team's owner who runs the MS and owns the comany who makes the bunkers and keeps on bringing add on kits out year after year.

Just seem's a little suspect when "his" team has the field plans way before any one else.

You can say "well we need to know how the field works" it just doesnt look good

and are they going to let the other PRO Teams try this field to "see how it plays"? at the other events?

Poor show MS poor show.
