I'm looking after a team made up of kidz between ages 14 and 15. They have played at D7's, KoTH, and SWPL (SE) and so far have managed 3rd, 2nd, 4th, 2nd in the 4 events they've played since they started in November last year. Don't let age be a limitation, as young guys you are totally capable of kicking butt in the adult, or should I say big kidz arena.
What you should consider doing is finding an experienced team to act as your mentors and help with game planning etc. Our young guns team, Anxiety, have Backlash as their mentors and it's worked wonders. Maybe there is a good team in your area who are willing to invest a few hours of their time into your team over weekends and at tourneys.
