It's funny about Miami Effect / Infamous, cause i've been reading Facefull Magasine May 2004 (sorry PGi guys, i'm a magasine whore) and there's a quote from LaSoya saying:
Right now the NXL is the only solid league, and they're not going anywhere. Why would you give up here and go somewhere that's not for sure?
Dude sure changed his tune in the last few months...
Then there's a nice little bit with Paul Alders on the next page talking about how Crossman is paying them more to play the NXL than they could make if they won every event they played if they didn't join the NXL.
