Splendid,the story was awesome, nice to see the tension between Neo and trinity erm..released, loved the scence with The Archetect, nice way of splitting the audience up.

But could of really done with a more ruthless edit. The rave/love scene was several shots two long (I like tits but i kinda didn't want that sort of thind here) and most of the stuff with the Morrovigio(sp?) and Pesephone could have been gone. nice rip offs of Vampire: The Mascarade, funny accent, couple of nice lines, but GET ON WITH IT!!

I think the accusations of two much CG are not completly there, sure the Brawl squence uses a lot, but then it has to, also watch the staircase fight and compare how much actual CG was used (apart from the obvious). Reeves really does have some ability and the dedication in the whole film really shows, but the Wakowskis(sp?) might be gettting a bit too pretentious.

cant believeeeee how much money went into this film!!! they built their OWN motorway as they couldnt close a motorway for long enough to shoo the film, the motor way they built cost something like $300,000 per 1/4 of a mile, and they built it like 7 miles long i think....thats alot of money for one scene!!!

For the sort of freeway you need? no chance.
look at the trouble they had to go to get time square for an hour or so to shoot Vanilla Sky.

A city council would certainly not let you crash dozens of cars, blow up trucks or stage gun battles on your average fly over.

its cool to see this much money being spent on the fruits of a low budget Sci fi movie with high brow aspirations and so far the resulting problems are more limited to editing issues and a bit too much rather than any real selling out.

BTW ne one heard about WETA (of LOTR fame) doing a live action version of Evangelion? (oh dear god yes).
