Am football is way cool. I miss it. I miss the sandlot games way back when.

I know there is, or has been, Am football goin' on here in Stockholm. I caught a demo game at a major park here years ago with the Vikings playing. The last two Joy Masters were set up square in the middle of a Football field, with folks wondering what the hey them goal posts were.

I want to buy an American football and a flag football set to try to get that going with some of my friends here. Not the real thing but a lotta fun.

Are you from Amsterdam? That city rules! I have always gone outta my way to go through that wonderfully sleazy city ever chance I get and spend a few days. I was there the weekend before the DMA so I couldn't get permission from the government to return for the tourney. I sure hope to make it next year. Will there be a repeat? If so, any idea about the dates?

I know how you feel about people not knowing about football. Sometimes when I was lugging all my gear around people came up to me asking if I played hockey or motocross or whatever...

And yes, I'm from Amsterdam. Steve Baldwin from Diablo Europe has said that there will be another DMA next year.
Drop me a mail when you get to Amsterdam again, so we can talk and play some ball (paint or foot, it matters not ).

Tyger have you ever watched a Rugby match? I played for 9 years and saw some huge guys run almost as fast as me (which was exactly how I wanted it ) Just watch the British Lions all big blokes and all faster than me. Just cos someone is fat don't make 'em infit eh dude?

So what are you saying? Americans don't work long hours? You said earlier you work long hours compared to the rest of Europe... What does that have to do with Americans? We too pay taxes on everything we buy and it is slapped on petrol and then a protion of our wages are taken for TAX, Social Security, and State Tax. Why is it you think Americans have it so good?

Try being american in the UK on US wages paying Brittish prices now how in the hell does that give me any atvantages?

As pball grows the american style of play will come more familiar to the rest of the world....aggressive , fast un-controllable unpredictable and some other things i may have missed.
How long can us euros, etc go on without noticing that we can implement this into our own playing styles.
If you see americans play a lot of the time you will see patterns, rhythms and ways of play that they stick to most of the time but can change occasionally but is quite dominating compated to euro styles.

What we euros have to do is learn how they play, get in their heads, (im not saying literally drill into their heads ) and most importantly their phychology of playing their style.

You may see america as the (Big) king of balling but kings can be over-thrown if you just fight them hard enough.
Im sick of hearing america is "big n bad" coz their economy is bigger or they have got more guns etc, who cares.
What only counts is that euros can, have, and will beat the yanks in balling but on a larger scale.

Didn't X-Ball prove that nothing will ever remain the same? The typical style that amreican teams use isn't typical at all. Nor will it remain the same. While other countries try to learn the ways of the US the US is learning new ways to WHACK it to you! But like you said it's all a matter of time!
