The first gen clocksprings are known to be a problem part, there is a thicker version now available which seems to hold up a little better. The stock one is sprung but only a little and the XSV and stock chips work a little differently. I would try a stock impeller and nice Blitz or Nox chip or wait for the Dynasty upgrade which will come with a new sprung paddle and chip to suit

I had the clock spring as well in mine. Went wrong....

Now i have the dynasty spring and impeller and its never gone wrong never missed a beat, never jammed
(with the dynasty chip)
