LOL yea thats the one!! Quick spelling mixed with Dyslexia will never work!!

Running an gunning long = good, hence the 15deg reg mounts by Sloth, they are great.

I also find that a longer set up is much more stable so find it easier to turn.

I've just put a STAR on mine mate and i just changed to a 0.8L and its sweet i normally shoot 3 pots + hopper a game on ave and still have about 1700 or so psi left, however one of our back guys a) doesnt want to change his tank and b) has shot more than 6 pots in the past so i'm going to machine the bottom of his frame off and fit a std ego drop in the same position as original, 'll post up some pics when its done and if youre keen i can do the same for anyone else.

To be honest i think its a bit naff of eclipse not to make an asa/rail system that can be used on the star frame, you are literally stuck with either 1.1/0.8l tank option and if youre preference falls in between...tough :(

aye, machining the bottom off gives you the most options and it was something i've been considering to be fair. But I got used to the 1.1 bottle on mine so it didn't really mess up my game.
I suppose smaller people will have the problem but then again most small people are fronts and mids.
I have a 0.8L on mine at the moment and I can get through 6 pots easy, just have to fill up after each game :)

just buy a different asa that allows you to slide it into different positions. eg CP / DYE/ hybrid etc

that will solve the problem of the oops supplied sitting backwards by 1 inch on the grip frame.

tbh its not worth hacking the star frame apart imho, resale being what it is.

fwiw also if you get some suitable screws you can attach whatever drop you would want on it, as star frame is drilled for screw mounts...

if you sell the oops let me know
